Abstract

One of the most important results of globalization in the last decade of the late century has been the changes in the rankings of countries by economic development. The top ten of economically developed and rapidly growing countries now includes China, India, Russia and Brazil. Thus it is important to investigate their economic policy that has led to the improvement of their economic performance. The peculiarities of a mixed economy system, which is characteristic of China and Russia, have been analyzed in this article. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the model of a successfully functioning mixed economy has been constructed and presented in the article. The study shows that the most advanced features of a centralized economy and market economy can be combined together is order to increase the competitiveness of national economies.
