Abstract

In modern scientific literature the time based management is often described as a management tool useful for most management spheres in practice. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the time based management presents many challenges for management and for design of performance measurement systems until now. What system of performance measurement is most likely to produce conditions conductive to time based management? It is becoming an increasingly important strategic tool in global competition perspective. And what is good mix of performance measures in the context of time based management. To assess the problems faced in the time based management this paper begins with a brief history of performance measurement and an overview of where we are now and what the performance measurement challenges are within the environment of time based management.
